-10C and -9C in April. Wow. I don't know how you can live there. How do things green up in springtime with those temps? People there must be pretty hardy lol.

Finally spring-like temps. On many days, in the forecast, easterly lake winds will keep MDW and ORD 2-3C cooler than where I live. The lakeshore itself will be 7-8C cooler on some days...

This climate is brutal. This is why Vancouver has the best climate in Canada. Imagine if Seattle had the best weather in the US

But no summer.

I would take Toronto anyday.

Even here there is noticeable difference. Last July vancouver have 7 days above 25C, we have 22.

Anyway I have said it once before Tom, only 2 more years here until I don't see snow anymore. I will be saying the same thing "how can people live in philly" while enjoying the likes of a 'true' subtropical climate. what goes around, comes around yeah. peace out

Lol, I don't live in a subtropical climate and have no illusions about my climate. But I am happy that at least we don't get that extreme.

I hope you do find a great winter climate somewhere. This is a weather forum, so when someone posts temps like that in April of course I take notice. I don't like extremes obviously. I'm just glad you are at least honest about the climate and how you feel about it, and that like me you are obviously not an extreme cold lover.

Let us know where you end up. It will be nice to see you post warm winter temps. I'd recommend Australia, as Canada and Australia seem like twins in a lot of things except climate.

At last! - a sunshine forecast that doesn't look like Iceland. Maybe they got the mouse living in the supercomputer?
