A cold front tomorrow will bring a couple of moderately chilly yet sunny days, otherwise mild and grey weather on the horizon for a long time to come - after such a cold start to the month it might not finish that far below average. Apart from the cold two weeks we've just had it's felt like a very mild winter, and very dry too.
Looks like the NAO and AO are both forecasted to become highly positive over the next few weeks along with the PNA going negative. Trends continue to indicate above average temperatures for the eastern US. The prolonged continuation of the warmth continues.
