and even with those temps I'd still only consider the humidity level "moderate."
(26 C with 55%, 25 C with 60% and when it's 77%, it's only 20.5 C)
I could wear long sleeves, perhaps even a sweater and have my skin cool enough to stay dry in that kind of weather.

*Toronto on a warm muggy day could easily see 21 C with 90-100% humidity, going up to 26 C with 65-75% humidity;
a regular sunny day going up to 26 C here will have 45-55% humidity anyways.

Seattle. They just seem to get lots of rain and for very often. Beautiful city, otherwise, but every time I've been there for one thing or another, it's always gloppy outside.

it's usually partly cloudy or sunny in the summer in Seattle.

Yuk. What a pity that whilst a lot of rain falls during the "Wet", it would have to be accompanied with hot and steamy night temperatures.

I generally agree with that,
but I'd rather see rain with temperatures like 33/26 C or even 35/28 C,
than a bone-chilling rain with temps like 6/3 C.

same. I hate cold rain. But I love warm rain. My definition of warm rain is when the temp doesn't drop below 20C for the whole duration of the rainfall. In Melbourne, that virtually never happens, even in mid summer.

At least half the time it rains in summer, we can count on it being at least 18 C.
A raincoat is almost always uncomfortable and "too warm," at least for rain during daylight hours.

The only temps that would be less common after a rain would be 24+ C.
But most years we will still have at least one rain where it's 26-28 C afterwards.

It's not something I normally think about,
but we always get "sun-showers" some days where the air is 72-85 F (22-30 C),
and the pavement cools from "near-frying pan hot" to just above body temperature while coated in a film of rainwater.
I love sun-showers!
