I thought about digging up the original Target thread, but decided to start a new one in case people are tired of seeing it
So I was in the Commons Shopping Center (Martinsburg) the other day and noticed a new seafood place near Sweet Frog. The sign just said "Seafood". I did a google search and figured out that it's justintimeseafood.com. I don't think it's been open long, but I'm curious if anyone has tried it yet.
Oh, what a relief! Just yesterday my DH and I were house hunting near there and we were talking about how we wished there were good seafood vendors in the area like we had back home in Richmond. I wanted to grill some fish for dinner and the only place I knew to go was Martins in Winchester, where we are living temporarily. We purchased a whole pound sockeye salmon fillet. It was expensive, but the worst salmon I've ever had. Here's hoping this new specialty shop will be a success! I'll be giving them my business on my next trip up that way for sure!
Looks pretty good went in and got a menu, but not all the fresh fish was on the menu. I asked about crabs and can't remember the price, but it seemed reasonable.
I know this is off topic, but who here has had sweet frog? I know there is one at the Commons, but I've never been to one. Charleston has one now, and I don't know if its worth trying or not.
My wife and I have a card to get a free icecream after I by 10, we now have bought 9 lol. Sweet frog is awesome, I like it because I am not a big fan of creamy ice cream I prefer frozen yogurt. I usually get vanilla with fruit toppings, seems healthier.
Thanks for the heads-up, I'll give it a try soon. I grew up in MD close to the Bay, so I'm picky about my seafood.
Me too, didn't grower up there but my parents and family are from Baltimore. I have to have it streamed right or I can't eat it. Have noticed a lot of native West Virginians boil their seafood, just doesn't taste right.
My wife and I tried the crab cake dinner yesterday. We both thought it was very good. Came with a decent sized crab cake in sandwich form with big helping of boardwalk fries, and corn on the cob for about $14. We will definitely try it again.

Thanks for the review!!! I'll have to give it a try
Seafood - store at The Commons. I just noticed that this past Sunday as well. Haven't been in there yet.
I've heard that there are a couple other seafood stores in the Martinsburg area. Maybe Google 'Seafood stores in Martinsburg, WV area'? I know Costco in Winchester, Va has seafood too but of course, there's that membership fee. I believe they allow one day passes, or at least they used to.
Sweet Frog - @ The Commons. DH and I have been there at least 2 or 3 times now since they've opened. It may look like a long line but it does move fairly quickly. They have some really good flavors. What they have one weekend tho, they may not have the 2nd time you go back. I heard they are putting one over there in the shopping center in Ranson, same side as Bob Evans, in the spot where the old Jerry's Sub & Pizza place was located. I was thinking about starting a thread in C-D, under "food" to get people's favorite flavors. Maybe a poll?
