You know, I grew up in Clarksburg, and I visit there fairly often, but I don't remember any stars. Now I'm curious. Here in Las Vegas we all have suns on our houses, and sometimes moons.

It's funny what you notice when something is brought to your attention. In Huntington the other day, I was downtown for chilifest and noticed a brick building with about 5 of the stars and bolts on the side of it. Never really noticed it before and I've seen the building lots of times.

I was watching one of those "If I fix all the problems, what is my house worth?" programs on HGTV tonight, and they were showing an old brick row house in Baltimore, and sure-as-shootin', there were those stars along the 1st floor ceiling / 2nd floor joists line, spaced about every 10 feet apart.

Hmmmm. I live in a community called Kokopelli. Coincidence? I think not.

While visiting some Amish friends in PA, I asked them about these stars also as there were many in that area & was told they were strictly decorative.

I live in Roanoke VA and they are popping up all over the place here. I have been wondering what they mean too. In fact I searched the Internet today and found this site.
