Why are we concerned with expanding Tudor's to the new territory of Appalachia North? We still need a Tudor's in Morgantown. Let's shore up the homeland before we continue outwards. After a Tudor's in Morgantown is established, it shall then proceed Northwards to Pittsburgh and, assuming the Yinzers take heart to it as most rational folk do, it can then naturally make way to our new territory in NE Ohio.

Tudor's Biscuits are meeting serious resistance here near the Forks of the Ohio... the absence of Kolbassi and Pierogis on the menu is a major problem.

I hear ya!! Up here in NE Ohio, they'll also need to add Kropsua, a Finnish bread eaten at Finnish Lutheran churches around Ashtabula, Conneaut, and Warren. In Youngstown, yunz'll need some Italian wedding soup, pizzelles, and lots of Rigatoni and Raviolis n'at
BTW, all of our Appalachian brethren from East Liverpool on down are invited to come explore the swampy flatlands of Northern Appalachia!! Back in the woods up here, we have "swampbillies"...'em are hillbillies livin' back in the swamp 'ere. When it rains, youze kee-yan go swimmin' in the front yard n 'at!!
Sounds to me like Michigan will be part of Appalachia pretty soon. Lots of swampbillies up 'ere, just like Ash-uh-boola Cahny

Soon the entire Rust Belt shall be ours. I say we continue our military assault and invade Philly and NYC. Then we can elect Uncle Jim Bob mayor of New York....then it's only a matter of time before a good 'ol boy from the holler is president. Yes...it's all going to plan...
Seriously though, I think it's rather odd that Appalachia is apparently growing. WTF? Is it like economic misery by osmosis or something? Perhaps they will blame the deindustrialization of that region on Appalachian influence in the history books.

Actually, I have lived in the northern NYC suburbs and it is part of Appalachia. Much of the Hudson Valley as close as 30 miles from NYC is clearly in Appalachia as is western Connecticut and northeastern New Jersey.

That is true, CTMountaineer. You do not want Michigan. In the same vain, you guys don't want "Ash-uh-boola", as the local swampbillies pronounce it. This place is a hopeless heck hole of snow, soggy and flat swampland, meth heads and alcoholics. The educational level of Ashtabula County is painfully low. Bowling and fishing is all they seem to do up there. Morgantown and Wheeling are far nicer in every way than this hopeless, snow-blinded dump of a town. At least they have some culture, and there are some educated people living there.

Steubenville, OH and that region of Ohio has always been a part of Appalachia. But it's funny to imagine that counties close to Lake Erie being included. When I think of Appalachia, a hilly landscape comes in mind.

No "at least" about it, Morgantown is nicer than any place in Ohio. Wheeling used to be, but it is still better than Steubenville.

Appalachia is more than mountainous/hilly terrain. It is a distinct subculture with several variations depending on region within it. In addition to West Virginia, much of Ohio, Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Vermont, Virginia, Kentucky, North Carolina, Georgia, and Alabama are Appalachian.
