I'm looking at it after dark... does anybody know if it's an infrared camera, or do they have a "night light" ?
Are there eggs in the center of the nest? Right now, it's just a white blob. But I see the mother (?) to one side.

I hope that's not a bright light which I'd think would bother the eagles. In past years after dark it was pitch black. I'm on the west coast. It's only 10 to 4 here.

It looks like infra-red. The questions give the perfect opportunity to slip in this next link. I know this camera is color in daytime and infra-red at night. Enjoy!

We occassionly see bald eagles at our cabin at Canaan and it always thrills me to bits. Over the holidays one flew past our window just about 20-30 feet away. I'd never seen one that close and it was awesome!

We had a pair nested on the banks of Blennerhassett Island, right beside the sternwheeler landing. The Belpre, Oh. Hardee's has a deck with a coin operated telescope overlooking the Ohio river.
The Eagles must've gotten tired of the shutterbugs and moved on. But the couple did have some babies first, if I recall.

One of the biggest thrills I had fishing in Canada was seeing hundreds of bald eagles in all the trees. They were as prevalent as sparrows. Watching them fish is a thrill too.

I have a set of pics showing an eagle or osprey landing a 32" musky. It latched onto the fish and swam to shore!
edit- The turkeys are on the pixcontroller link right now.

The Update page says the eggs were layed on Jan 31 and Feb 2, with an incubation period of 34-35 days. So this time next weekend we should be getting ready to watch the eaglets hatch.
I'm assuming the eggs are under the eagle, which is why I haven't seen them yet.
