I can fly! I can flyyy! ...er no I can't
I know I would be flapping my wings if I fell off there. Sycamore trees get tall!

Hate to keep adding one-liners to this post, but..
Wow, he's really grown in the past week. After sitting on that perch forever, he changed spots and I thought he was one of the parents until I noticed his tail feathers aren't fully white.
Would like to see a time lapse video on his growth since birth!

You have to be a little careful with size estimates. That appears to be a "fish-eye" wide angle lens on the camera, so if he perches near the camera (bottom of the screen), he looks really big.

That's why I didn't try to estimate the height of the tree for you, it's just really tall.
He was on the far side when I looked earlier.
Someone was running a weedeater, then whacking on something, I think it bugged him a little.

Hard to tell for sure, but definitely a Homelite (something).
Sorry, I just came from the idiots forum.
Just looking again, I thought he was deceased! Thank heavens he's not. But he's lying with his feet flopped out behind him and didn't move for quite a bit.

I wish he wouldn't stand right next to the microphone when he squawks... he sure can be loud!

Sometimes I'll open it up when the wind isn't blowing, turn the sound up, and wander to the tv or couch. Yes, it will make you jump out of your skin!
Young eagles must have to earn their 'insignia', I thought he would have a lot more white by now.
Sometimes he looks right at the camera and I sense an attitude. Like, "So?!" or "What do you want?!"

Folks, if you're online, he's about to go. The paremts seem to be coaxing him to try. every time the wind gusts he lifts off.
He's been off the nest and over the ground three times but the wind helped him back over the nest and alnded. Gotta go.

It's getting dark, and it's pretty windy, I think Flight #1 will have to wait until tomorrow.
