Me too, and I just got a new job stuck in it Grateful to have one yes, but the extreme last thing I wanted to do again ever Can't stand it!

Customer service does SUCK! Agressive is a good word for how customers view retail workers. I had no idea how people mistreat and look down upon retail workers until I became one.

I work as a salesperson at the Gap and a hospital volunteer and I swear that has got to be the happiest job(s) in the world!

"Happiness" on the job occurs when the employee is engaged in work that h/s enjoys doing; the workplace environment is w/o negative stress and drama; and the employer/boss is not the 'boss from He**'.

Most of my working years were in the admin/clerical field and the basic tasks were pretty much the same. What made it tolerable, enjoyable, or a living nightmare depended on who/what I worked with.
