So, I found a job back on November. I thought it would be a good fit for me; however, the opposite turned out to be true. Very high turnover and management/employees that do not know how to act professionally nor do they possess skills to perform the job.... I resigned.
Anyway:
During the interview, I have provided employer with my official portfolio: recommendations, school diplomas and transcripts (that had SS#, DOB, etc on them).
So, a week after I started I got a call from HR to provide a copy of my transcript. When I told them that I have already provided that during the interview, they said - ok no problem, we will take care of that. Then same call in 2 weeks for the transcript. Of course, I made another copy and gave it to them. I, then, had a conversation with HR manager and he said that "we misplaced it".
Is this normal to loose things like that? They did teach us in new hire class about Sensitive Security Information and how we should protect it, by the way
