I'd finish up the 2nd Masters degree I'm working on now because I'm halfway through & wouldn't just drop out now. I'm on year 2 of working the job I need the degree for. I'd do just enought to earn my degree, but that doesn't mean I have to work the job I just got the degree for! I'd quit on a good note, but I'd never see her nor any coworkers again.
I'm a rather solitary person who never had many friends, so it would be really interesting to see who wants to be my friend then.
Yes, I would travel about every season, so that's 4x's a year, but I wouldn't want to be away any longer than 2 weeks. To me, that's just enough to not get sick of traveling. I'd have a nice house, maybe a 2nd house, & a few cars though. I'd of course get my parents anything they wanted & I'd want to donate to organizations that help kids & animals.
Money only enhances who you really are. You aren't happy now, you wouldn't be happy with millions in hand either.
If your job is the main thing that makes you unhappy, then YES winning the lottery would make you at least happier. It's not that I want to be rich, but I just hate having to work. I'd be VERY happy to be wealthy enough to never have to work again unless it was a job that I loved.

Agreed.
I don't wish to be Bill Gates rich (it's a bonus, but certainly not something that would make or break me), I just wish to have enough financial stability where I won't have to rely on other people (as other people WILL take advantage of you when you're down and out) or the government to have my basic needs met and afford a few luxuries.
As for any excess income I know I'll never use, I'll probably give it all away (not to big name non-profit charities like the American Red Cross that will take off 75% for overhead).
