When i went to visit the doctor at a psychiatry place.. and you know when you go to the front desk and they hand you papers to fill out, make appointments for doctors what is their job title because i am so interested in becoming one.

It's usually listed as Front Desk or Receptionist, but depending upon how small the office is, it could be a Medical Assistant who also works the front desk.

There is also the medical administrative assistant to differentiate from the medical assistant.

There are many titles. Medical Secretary. Medical Front Desk. Medical Receptionist.

It is not Medical Assistant which is more patient care, like taking blood pressure. However in a very small office the medical assistant might do both.

you can usually study to be one at your local community college or business program.
