Haha this post reminds me of the late Mitch Hedberg joke " I used to be a hot tar roofer. Yeah, I remember that....day".

I wouldn't do military or police work. I would do literally any other job, IF it paid enough (unfortunately they usually don't). I am for sale. But I draw the line at killing people and arresting them for small quantities of marijuana. Stuff like that. I do have standards.

I have done some dirty jobs, including
- Plumbing work in Arizona (read: dealing with other peoples poo and crawling belly first in tight crawl spaces with all the wonderful creatures AZ has to offer).
-Chimney cleaning (actually not bad, self employed make $300 cash somedays for 5 hours).
-Roofing in the south Florida heat. I had my own business and made decent money but damn it's hot.
-Doing HVAC work and duct change outs in south florida heat. Recorded attic temps of 160 degrees .
-Cleaning public park restrooms as a county maintenance guy. (People abuse public park restrooms in ways you can never imagine).
-Building rich people 3 story houses in constantly rainy south Alaska. One slip and you're done for.
- Farming in south florida heat.
-I even picked up bodies for a morgue/funeral home one summer. Not as bad as it sounds except for the one guy who wasn't discovered for about three weeks. I'm picky and prefer recently dead people.

Nothing really bothers me anymore, but I gotta get paid good and usually do .
