There are many jobs that suck. These jobs suck so bad, that we should probably be thankful that other, less fortunate people are willing to perform the duties of the job. Sometimes, these jobs destroy communities and the environment for the locals. There are many jobs that just plain suck, and no American would want to do them, period.
American corporations tend to offshore these crappy jobs, allowing Americans to do the easier and higher paying jobs. Does anyone really have a problem with this?
Also, tons of people have no problem having to put up with crappy jobs if it means putting food on the table and paying their rent. What are the options when those "crappy jobs" (very subjective, btw, VERY subjective) are not available?
Americans are not protective of american jobs unless it's their job! They really could care less about anyone else's job being shipped overseas so long as they have their job. Sure they talk the big "made in USA" speech but truth is, most really never give it any thought except when they wave the flag on the fourth of july. The notion that many americans actually care about american jobs is a myth; it's nothing but a sad attempt by lazy american workers to feel good about themselves.

This makes no sense whatsoever.
If they were able to get those high paying jobs, they'd be able to get it even if the lower paying jobs were available. Offshoring just takes away jobs from the total.
Off-shoring makes sense for a citizenry when excess jobs are off-shored, i.e., when there is a significant excess supply of living wage work accessible to every person who is aiming to pay their own way and secure their future. You can detect that situation when there is a sharp and sustained up-tick in income at all economic strata in the society. That shows that there is an imbalance between supply and demand of labor, for which off-shoring can be a moderating factor.
Absent a sharp and sustained up-tick in income at all economic strata in the society, off-shoring does nothing more than first create and then exacerbate the existing imbalance between supply and demand of labor, reducing the demand and therefore sharply driving incomes down relative to inflation, in a manner typically worse for the lower economic strata in the society. Effectively, off-shoring is an act that places profits enjoyed by the rich above the basic needs of the poor. It is a rational preference, but the fact that those engaging in the practice are unwilling to admit the reality of its impact indicates that they themselves acknowledge its relative inadequacies, which are moral, in the context of its relative strengths, which are personal and financial.
When our Unemployment rate is at 0%, then I will be in favor of off-shoring jobs and bringing in temporary guest workers. Until then, these lazy slugs and go out and pick tomatoes.

Salaries are going down, "easier and higher paying" jobs are simply not happening. "Free trade" is not free. Everybody in our country suffers for it. That 3.00 Dale Ernhardt t-shirt from WALMART came at a cost way more then 3.00

It will never be at 0% and can't be. Full employment is much higher.
