My grandfather used to say, "There's only 2 things in the world that smell like fish, and one of 'em's fish."

if this is one of your major complaints in life....you got it good...

I use to eat seafood for lunch everyday …..worked on a fishing boat....and a lobster boat...best seafood you can eat....im glad no one complained

if in an office and you are complaining about fish aroma???? that's extremely petty to me a first world problem....lol

I have a salad phobia ...im offended by salads.....should I complain to people eating salads???

If it bothers you this much bring a can of air freshener and leave it on the counter and use as necessary. Or go eat somewhere else, desk, car.

This opinion may, or may not be popular, but I am really not a fan of hot food in the workplace.
All food becomes smellier when it is heated, not only fish.

What is tasty to one person, is stinky to another.

Smells are also dependent upon what you are used to eating. Highly spiced foods are great - re-heated in an office? Not so great.

This is especially true of re-heated or warm food. When I was working outside the home, lunch break could become a circus of smells - everything from reheated Asian, Eastern European, Jamaican, Italian, Greek, Latin, various take outs and fast foods, soup, cabbage rolls - you name it.

The individual foods served at home may have smelled fine. But the olfactory cacophony of smells could be down right disgusting on certain days!

Here's a novel idea - why not grab a sandwich from home or a local diner? Better yet, eat out if possible.

That's just as bad as heating a lovely plate of aromatic pizza up around someone who's on a diet. It's a killer!

Line up all those evil fish eaters and have them publicly executed by the guillotine.

A better question to ask is why some coworkers have to moan and complain about everything. Good grief!

So thankful I no longer work with such people.

So every time someone starts a thread about something they don’t like, (how many times a day?) everyone who doesn’t like THAT should post their own whining about: “oh poor baby, how about being a prisoner of war! What if you had no job! How’d you like to be in a straight jacket, huh? Imagine that! First world-work problems!”

Ok fair enough, now we have a NEW row of whiners to line up for the guillotine, who don’t even know they’re whining! oops my eyes are stuck! I know I don’t like that...

Today starts Ash Wednesday a day of fasting and abstinence from meat. Every Friday until Easter.
Plan to go out for lunch the next several Fridays. Or set a can of air fresheners in the company kitchen.
