The vacation cabin in the summer - this is a style called a "dogtrot" because it has a wide, open porch running down the middle of it. This porch is made slightly more narrow at one end, so there is a steady and cool breeze through it all summer long. We go up there about once a month for a weekend or so.

This is the first house I ever lived in. This little shot gun house is now worth about $250,000 at least in New Orleans. My parents wish they'd held onto it!
I think in September she goes to England. But she spends a lot of time on the Firth of Clyde, especially out of Dunoon. Also stops at the pier near my house now since it's been refurbished.
Would your friend in Largs be the ones who won the Euromillions? They donated a LOT of money when the Waverley was in danger of going broke.
That might explain why I haven't heard from him for a while!
Hey, if they are friends of yours ask them for money. And while you're at it tell them you have a dear friend in Argyll who could use some extra travel cash so they don't have to fly in cattle class.
