Come to America, my friend. Are you ready to become an American?
Oh, but I thought the Black communist-socialist-anarchist-Muslim-atheist in the Blight House is already destroying this country, fundamentally transforming it into a European state?

He has been destroying this country and trying to turn it into an Euro, Big Gubmint, High Tax, Commie ******* nanny state but hopefully by the time our friend chooses to become an American, Barry Soetoro will be long gone.

"Six in 10 Americans are dissatisfied with the state of the U.S. economy; more than 70% of Americans believe the country is headed in the wrong direction; and nearly 80% are down on the country’s political system"- Source: NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll- 08/05/14

I have no doubt in my mind that a Republican will win in 2016.

Thank you for these few answers.

theunbrainwashed I recognize Singapore as one of the most free countries in the world. Of course some of the laws are weird, but which of our countries do not have them? Am I a troll? Many statistics says that this country is so. But as I said, I'd love to hear an opinion of someone from these countries.

Repubocrat Am I ready? That's an interesting question. As far I know two people from USA, both of them run to Europe because of "racism and surveillance". I'm interested in USA, however I'm sceptic is it really a place where you can feel safe. Government + (in my opinion) very high crime level. But again, USA is so big, that I can choose something better than NY or California. How is it really there?

k350 Have you ever been in Romania? I had an occasion, and I know that corruption is one of the worst things that can happen to the country.

I know that I'm not clear about what am I looking for, but I don't even know can it exist. Does any of the countries have an quite logic and clear law? Less bureaucracy, taxes and other bullish? I would really like to live in a place which I'm proud of, with nice people which I had luck to meet in for example Croatia.

Are you freaking serious? So, they escaped the USA because of "racism and surveillance"? hmm, I wonder if they were Al-Qaida members.

Of course the USA is a safe country for the most part, all you have to do is choose a nice city and neighborhood.

If you are coming here from the Denmark, I am pretty sure you are not thinking about settling in a Detroit or New Orleans ghetto, so a middle/upper-middle class suburb of any major American city or any small city will be pretty safe.

Honestly, I love it here. I have been to 13 European countries and as much as I love some of them, I still feel that the USA is the best place overall to call home.

You should come and visit, even the most staunch, hardcore, anti-USA European pseudo intellectuals leave the USA usually with a different perception after they realize how diverse this country really is.

Oh my god.

Singapore is a totalitarian regime where people enjoy limited "freedom" of assembly, speech, and press. The only thing "freer" in Singapore than the other countries is the economic freedom, which is none of your concern since you're not going there to start a business.

What about you tell us where do you come from?

Read this thread and decide for yourself -

What do you do when someone knocks at your door after midnight?
What do you do when someone knocks at your door after midnight?

- whether you really want to live in a country where so many of the people are so deranged and frightened that they either refuse to answer the door after midnight or threaten the person at the door with a firearm.

Enjoy!
