It must be said that Burma has opened its gates to the outside world only recently, tourism has increased quite a bit recently and will do so for the next few years, there ar emany interesting sights there (Bagan, Mandalay, ecc.)
Bangladesh really is the poster child for this question. Don't really agree with Nigeria being on the list of some folks. For good and bad reasons...its pretty well known.
Niger (21st by Land size, 60th by Population size)
What do we know about this country beside that most of it is desert, neighboring Nigeria, Mali, Algeria, Libya and Chad (also Burkina Faso and Benin but most people don't know that).

For both size and population Ukraine: if you don't count Russia, Ukraine is the second largest country in europe by area and 7th by population.
Ukraine is Number 1 in Europe by Land size..
