For me it's neither one of them. I am not really a fan of cities who's population exceeds 5 million within it's city limits. Just way too big for my taste. I could never even see myself living in a city that has more than 1.5 million people living within the city proper let alone over 5 million. I just don't like cities that are way too overpopulated.

London or Paris (I'm guessing they are in the top 30, not sure)

I lived in NYC for 8 years so I know it's a great city..my other option from this list would have to be London.

I feel like a few cities were wrongly excluded from this list.

Either way, I'm a New Yorker at heart, so I'll play it safe and say NY.

Santiago would be second.

I live in one ( NYC ) but other than that, London or Hong Kong, However, I'm wondering, Jeff, as to why you would start this thread if you won't pick any of them?

Have a feeling NYC is going to win this pretty easily...

Isn't the answer obvious? Baghdad of course. Don't believe me? Well, okay, Tehran! Still no? Moscow?

Okay, okay, that would be NYC. Love those old-style, densely populated, AMERICAN cities. London wouldn't be bad, though. Never been to Tokyo, but from everything I've heard, it might be pretty good as well.

On that list, I would begin to consider Bombay, Istanbul, Moscow, Tokyo, New York, London and Hong Kong. I wouldn't really enjoy any of them except New York or London. Planet earth used to make really nice cities (many of which were relatively large), not so much anymore. Beijing and Lagos? Eww.
