Default Lake Wylie to Uptown

Can anyone offer any advice on how long it takes to get from Lake Wylie to the nearest express bus to uptown that runs on weekday mornings? In researching the different areas, we have seen some places we like here but looks like a lot further commute than from Fort Mill, one of our other options. (This would be around the Hands Mill Hwy and Concord Rd. Intersection in Lake Wylie)

Lake Wylie encompasses a large area, so I'm not sure on the times, but the nearest express bus stops would be at Baxter or Carowinds for the 82x. I've heard there's also a bus that will take you uptown at Rivergate Shopping Center at 160 and 49.

While I have never traveled this route during peak travel times...I would say it would take about apx. 15/20 minutes to get to the closest express bus. Which as BKQC has stated is located at the Rivergate Shopping Center (the Steele Creek Express - 41x).

CATS Bus Schedules

Here is an article from the Lake Wylie Pilot that tells a little more about it:

Lovethecarolinas is right on. I travel that route frequently. It is best to time the commute to avoid the school buses. Their frequent stops can add time to the commute.
