Residents live in private apartments with attentive housekeeping, laundry, and linen services; transportation is provided or coordinated for clients (including a luxurious bus with a wheelchair lift); and a 24-hour emergency alert system is also offered. Three meals a day are included. Suzanne Elise’s philosophy is to keep residents in their homes as long as possible, and it’s a close community with many activities featured and a lot of interactivity with the larger community. Schoolchildren trick or treat; the high school students might put on a play; local artists visit. It’s also a good place just to hang out. The library is especially nice.
