  • KDA_2_40111 - --In back kitchen, open employee drinks and employee drinks with lids stored over open meat additives. COS-Manager relocated all drinks.
  • KDA_4_20211A2 - --In walk in cooler, container and lid to chili cracked and missing plastic. COS-Manager changed container and discarded cracked lid and container. In walk in cooler, rice container lid cracked and missing plastic. COS-Manager chose to discard lid and replace with different lid.
  • KDA_4_60111A - --In back kitchen, cutting knife on can opener dirty with build up of dried on stuck on food. COS-Manager had employee clean can opener. On food production line, taco rail tray to 2nd food production line set up as clean with stuck on food on rails. COS-Manager had employee re-clean to correct.
  • KDA_6_50111 - --In back kitchen, floor tile around fryer cracked and missing.
  • KDA_6_50112A - --In back kitchen area, wall behind hot holding unit covered in build-up of dust and dirt.
  • KDA_Defacto - --3 compartment sink 50ppm chlorine (parts per million) --Covered thermometer calibration procedures with manager. --Discussed with manager about cooling in shallow pans on all cooked-cooled food items. --Facility cooling rice in freezer 127.4 after 1 hour and 78.3 after 1.50 hours. Discussed with manager about cooling in smaller containers to speed up cooling process. --hot holding table, taco meat 171.5, 174.6, refried beans 171.9, Rice 151.9, hot holding cabinet refried beans 164.9, taco meat 160.4. --make table #1 lettuce 41.8, diced tomato 37.1, make table #2 lettuce 41.9, shredded cheese 43.3, diced tomato 43.5, walk in cooler, refried beans 41.3, ground beef 42.7, shredded cheese 43.3 chili 42.9, rice 43.0, diced chicken 43.1, front line refrigerator, diced chicken 42.6 frozen foods ok. --manager discussed reheating procedure in microwave to 165.0. Best fast food Mexican restaurant-that doesn't taste fast!
Love it!!! I frequent there--and they know I like my chips warmed up and my ice cream slightly melted. I don't even have to tell them or remind them. They just know. They even recognize my voice on the phone and ask if I am the lady who likes her chips warm and ice cream melted!!
I have noticed when they see a customer leaving, at least one employee will always yell out, "bye and thanks for coming"! Friendly service and great food goes a long way!!
