Comments:
Today's visit is due to a complaint. The complainant was in the estab on 10/21 around 8:00 p.m.; they saw an employee leaving the restroom zipping up his pants as he was leaving the restroom; the complainant does not believe he washed his hands. I spoke with the assistant manager who will discuss hand washing with employees, especially the ones working that night.

Investigation of complaint alleging that on 8/1/06 at 4:00 p.m. customer received chicken tender crisp sandwich with undercooked raw chicken. During inspection spoke with manager who was not aware of complaint. Temperature of chicken tender crisp in hot hold unit is 172-188 degrees. The raw, frozen, breaded chicken breast is cooked for 5 minutes, 29 seconds in deep fat fryer. Manager cut one cooked breast open for observation. chicken was completely cooked. The breading was somewhat soft on inside. Manager not aware of any complaints or problems with the product this week.

Comments:
Investigation of complaint alleging that on 7-21-05 around noon female employee handing out food coughed into hands and immediately went to scoop ice for drinks (used cup to scoop-did not use ice scoop) then placed lids on cups. Complainant alleges spoke to manager who laughed. Spoke to manager who was aware of complaint; had spoken to complainant on phone and told would discard ice and sanitize bin. Customer accused manager of laughing at complainant and manager tried to assure not laughing at complainant. At time of this inspection, employees using ice scoop to scoop ice. Manager did discuss complaint with employee. Scoop was in ice and employee put cup down in ice bin with one hand and used ice scoop with other hand. Since complaint, manager has changed procedure to place scoop in container so visible to customers. Manager will also review handwash requirements.
