Trash cans and brooms were stored in front of the front area handsink making it inaccessible for handwashing.
Paper towels were not readily available at the front area handsink.
Fly strips without catch trays were stored directly above food and clean equipment throughout the kitchen. An employee stated that a can of insecticide not approved for restaurant-use was being used in the kitchen to control flies.
The storage racks in the front display reach-in cooler were chipped.
The storage shelves in the dry storage area and chemical storage area were chipped. The door gasket on the walk-in cooler was torn. The door gaskets on espresso machine reach-in cooler doors were torn.
The interior of the 3-door reach-in freezer near the fryers was soiled with food debris.
Ice build-up was present in the walk-in freezer.
Food containers on the storage racks near the 3-compartment sink were stacked wet.
The tiles on the wall by the mopsink were chipped. The floor under the fryer was soiled with grease.
The light shield in the dry storage area was missing. A light was not functioning above the back door.
