Hard to believe that fifty years ago, I can still remember Friday nights with my mother, father, and then-baby brother. As a family, we used to watch quite a bit of television. Perhaps, too much!

Country Music

I accidentally turned on Country Music on the radio and spent most of yesterday evening listening to it. Amazing. I really enjoyed it. Turns out when you like the content, you might even like the art.

So, 3/26 is an anniversary.

"The Case of the Missing Talent"

The first short story I ever wrote was titled "The Case of the Missing Sandwich," a story about a detective trying to get to the bottom of a stolen meal. I wrote it as a kid on my grandmother's typewriter. She was a business secretary for a chemical company, and her husband, my grandfather, had his own business, so they had a typewriter readily available, mainly to write up official-looking documents and to type up invoices.
