Then there was you (part 7)

This entry should have gone before the last entry.I'm trying to keep my timeline true.
Anyway, this is a poem Bill wrote for me before he moved up to NY with me.
I was always a huge fan of his writing and poems. When he emailed me this, I was so touched and thrilled.

Then There Was You

A cold, shrill and bitter wind blows within an empty soul, leaving a barren heart empty and
desolate as a windy snow swept Artic plain. Darkness and despair loom ominously thru the
endless darkness of this heart, internally void of light, hope and the warmth of spirit.
Then there was you, to slowly begin to enter my heart, warming the winter winds with the light
of your soul, like Spring bringing new life. The sight of You fills my heart with your beauty like
you were painting the rolling hills with a cascade of glorious colors that come with new life.
Your sent fills my soul with the fresh fragrances of newly blooming wild flowers that reach deep
into every living fiber of my soul. Your touch is warm and soft as a new kitten asleep in a lap.
Your slightest whisper fills my sails and carriers me off to some far away dream.
With your love you bring the joys that come with a boys first love, a utopia of happiness and
joy. Life is once again new and warm as if it was in an eternal Spring. For each and every time I
see you the sun shines a little brighter. The birds sing just a little higher and the flowers
bloom wider and brighter then they have before and though someday our winter will come, it
will be full of light and warmth, for together our bond of love will fill the the once empty voids.

Sigh...I am the luckiest girl in the world....

You are the luckiest girl in the world, Pam. I think Bill should be renamed "Romeo", and you, of course, "Juliette".

    What a heart-throbbing poem. What a story.
