Allowing Tenants To Pay with Paypal

Posted 02-13-2017 at 12:20 PM by jordansand

I used to think PayPal was a good idea, until I got into a bad situation -- the tenant started PayPaling me only partial rent (after I sent the 3 day to pay or rent notice), and I could not evict the tenant. I realized that PayPal is not a good way to collect rent -- that's why the best managers won't accept it. Here's a bit more detail that I recently read:

Venmo, Paypal, Direct Deposit for Rent Collection

Learned quite a bit about rent collection here.

John 15:7,8 - "If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask whatever you will, and it shall be done for you. By this my Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit, and so prove to be my disciples."

Some are willing to spend hours in prayer asking for a miracle instead of planting the word of God in their hearts, which in time would produce the miracle. Prayer is what water and fertilizer are to a seed. They help the word release its life.

The Call to Pull Tomorrow Into Today

Posted 02-12-2017 at 06:44 PM by Albert Finch (How Do I Advance My Spiritual Life?)

"...He has granted to us His precious and very great promises, so that through them you may become partakers of the divine nature..." - 2 Pet. 1:4

Promises from God are met with contradiction in the natural realm. God is announcing a reality to you that will most likely appear very distant and disconnected from your present situation. God's promises are prophetic glimpses of the realities He wants to release into and through your life.

There are smaller towns you could investigate that will be more accepting of dogs in a rental. (Losing one or both of my own pets would be heartbreaking, and to me, Asheville isn't worth it.)
