Well, for today, anyway -- possibly for longer. (One can only hope!)

Yesterday, I left the office where I've been working since early February because I had absolutely NO work available to me. Frustrating, because there is plenty of work to do, but the Project Manager I am reporting to is -- well, disorganized. So, I am taking a break.

I just talked with my "handler" and it looks like I can take a couple of weeks...

Checked the hives today, had ben worried about the #2 hive, thought they might have had Nosema but still not sure of that. They did lose the queen last year but seemed to have successfully bred a new one. Unfortunately, that meant that they lost ground and went into the winter with a low population and had not fully filled out top body with honey, end frames were not drawn, filled and capped.

Both hives were flying, #1 using both top and bottom...

Thank you but I am not looking for NYC or anything similar. I am looking for an above all Safe and bright community. A location that is easily accessible by car to restaurants/stores.
