Posted 02-29-2012 at 03:41 PM by case44 (Welcome To Case's Column)

As I write this, we are in the middle of a certain day that only happens once every four years. It's February 29. We refer to it as Leap Day in this, a leap year. That means (well, for those of you that like to get an early jump on things) one more shopping day to make before Christmas.

Music Makes The World A Better Place, And So Does Good Help

Posted 02-29-2012 at 03:17 PM by case44 (Welcome To Case's Column)

Hmmmmm.............I'll see if this works.

♪ ♫ ♪ ♫

Hey!

I did it!

Never before have I made such a remarkable discovery, thanks largely to a fellow poster with a good tip. I've just learned how to make musical notes on a post (Granted, just eighth notes and double eighth notes for now, but, hey, it's a start!). Okay, that may...

Twice guys have cooked me dinner so I know that it can be both romantic and adventurous. If the guy is cute and the dinner is complete with candles, wine, and cloth napkins, it can almost be a full-fledged turn-on. Of course two other needed components are good food, and an interesting conversationalist.

I had a dinner date yesterday where...

February Snow in Western Washington

Posted 02-29-2012 at 10:08 AM by LookinForMayberry

A few weeks ago we were in the mid 50s and sunny and I was sure it would soon be time to get the rack on the car and get the kayak off the shelf. I love the time on the water, but hate the cold. Still, a warm spring day... hard to beat.

Then it dropped back to the 40s, and well -- it's the norm for the region, so I just figured I can be patient.

But today is the third day we've had snow in the past week. Granted today's is just flurries, but they say we might get up...

No unemployed candidates will be considered at all

Posted 02-29-2012 at 06:25 AM by bobtn

[quote=Soda120;23189335]Maybe the person had a "large employment gap" after leaving his last job because of serious illness(es) (theirs, or a family member's).

There could be a number of good reasons.

Ever consider that "life" happens, and sometimes people have large gaps of unemployment?

Whenever there is a rationale reason for the gap that involves illness or a differnt, non employment related life event, it is prident to fully...
