Long Term Care - Part Two

Posted 01-27-2012 at 02:20 AM by woodworkingmenace (History)

Today marks the 21st day of me being in 'Long Term Care'-->Acuity as they call it.
The Doctor assured me, before I came in here, it would only be three weeks...But, two days ago, his partner and the 'team' were here, discussing in my room, how long they were going to 'keep me'...uhhhh.... maybe I should of spoken up then, but, I let them go on and listened, and they were talking about letting me out next Tuesday!!!
HEY, THATS NOT WHAT I AGREED TO!!

But, be it for me,...

I can't believe that we're already about to finish off the first month of what is not so much a New Year anymore. Time needs to really slow down a bit. And February is going to be here.

There's going to be a lot to do this next month. The news will be full of stories in its first few days, what with things like Groundhog Day, the Super Bowl, National Signing Day (high school athletes signing letters of intent at the college of their choice), the opening...

New Posts

Posted 01-26-2012 at 04:17 PM by LookinForMayberry

Each morning I check out the C-D New Posts section to see if there's anything of interest to which I would like to make a contribution. Over the last several weeks, the number of times I've felt drawn has dropped. Most of the subject lines are a big "So what? Who cares?"

Either people have grown more obsessed with the mundane, or I have lost my need to participate. Whatever the reason, this forum has lost attraction for me.

I think it's time to find another...

Still A Hilarious Story........And Don't Try This At Home!

Posted 01-25-2012 at 03:03 PM by case44 (Welcome To Case's Column)

I still think about this every so often, but I wouldn't say it's something I'm proud of. Years ago (sometime after dinosaurs roamed the earth in my case), I tried something different in a quest to lose just a few pounds. Yes, it should have been exercise and diet, but in my twenties, who'd have cared if I were to eat two large cheeseburgers in one sitting? I'd have rather kissed a pig than quit eating.

No, but after either watching a television commercial...
