ForSalebyOwner.com founder fails to sell own home

Posted 10-07-2011 at 08:09 AM by Anna Vanderlaan (Real Estate, Santa Fe and other Special Interests)

The following is an article sent to me that I thought I would share in this blog. FSBOs usually sell significantly under market value, often have a few terminated contracts, and are often crabby and defensive. Selling real estate is a serious profession for a reason. It requires expertise and cost. It is not about your sister or uncle trying...

Forward We Go...

Posted 10-06-2011 at 09:00 PM by woodworkingmenace (History)

My Daughter talked to her Girlfriend, and she said the Deputy Sherrif talked to one of the boys that was involved in the altercation...

He claims the 'Uncle' was baby sitting that night... Yea, Right!!

Well, we will see how well that Deputy and that Sherriff Department is, in thier 'truth finding' expedition... He claims they can 'weedle them down' to get to the truth, so, I will be waiting to hear from them eventually.

Flood Insurance Update

Congress passed a stop-gap measure to extend the National Flood Insurance Program until November 18th, 2011. It was originally scheduled to end on September 30th.

Posted 10-05-2011 at 10:37 PM by woodworkingmenace (History)

My Daughter and I just got back from the Sherrifs office in West Virginia...

It seems that the guy committed one felony and two misdomeaners against my Daughter.

The felony is in the Battery against a female, which I whole heartily applaud, as that will at lesat give him some Prison Time... (probably 30 days at least, and, I hope they dont give out days for good behaviour like California, sheesh, that system is a joke in itself).

Im satisfied that this young...

Food Poisoning or Bathroom Poisoning?

Posted 10-05-2011 at 06:59 PM by EatPHX

Just read a post the Food News Blog on Phoenix-Restaurants.Net about the Norovirus and it got me thinking about how important it is to not touch the door handles at restaurant bathrooms.

One time I got horrible ill after eating at a restaurant in Phoenix (I won't name it) but nobody at the table got sick. It may have been my trip to the bathroom that infected me and not the food....
