Part Two School Days or School Daze

Remember when the words "Dress Code" did not exist. As youngsters we dressed one of three ways: we dressed for church, we dressed for school, we dressed for play. Play clothes did not belong in school, and school clothes did not belong in church.

There were those three different styles: your best, your next to best, and your oldest or mostly worn out.

Customer Service....when good....is good....

Posted 10-28-2011 at 03:10 PM by tanmctee

....do you get it?

If asked, most will say, they want good customer service and yet many will express how they have come to appreciate it rather than expect it.

Why?

In a world where most of us want good customer service, why does it seem to be so hard to find??

Why do those people who are in a position to "make your day" chose to act as if they are either superior to you or bothered by the fact you have requested their help?

School Days versus School Daze

Posted 10-27-2011 at 05:19 PM by Yokie (Remember When)

The worst "crime" I ever saw in public school back in the 1940s was the "crime" of bringing a pea-shooter to school. Pea shooters consisted of a bag of split peas (the ammunition) and an ordinary drinking straw or something very similar....

Stupidity Factor

OK, soaking in the tub tonight, I reminice over the past few weeks, and was remembering the 'stupidity factor'

Yea, for days, I was virtually feeling little or not pain!! (OK, there is 'discomfort' when I wake up and go for my crutches, but, I grab them fast enough so that I dont have that sharp pain that would bring me to my knees or the floor).

So, its after my Wife cooked her meat loaf, and you 'know' how good anything is...
