Yes! My wish did come true, March 2009 was a wet month overall with warmer than usual temeratures. Starting the month was mainly cool and sunny days, but this pattern changed to cloudy after the first five days. Continuing the dry and warm trend since September 2008, february was very warm and brought with it little rainfall. The monthly average temperature finished off 8.2 degrees above normal! I was amazed by last year's February 2008 that was 7.0 degrees above average but this year's February actually beat it. We even had a 90 degree day on the 27th, which may not be too uncommon, but that is a little sizzling for February. HAHA. A very pleasant January came in 2009. With the monthly average temperature being 4.2 degrees above normal, I enjoyed having limited days where I needed to where a heavy jacket. Last year's January 2008 was dry like this one, although it was quite cooler with more freezes and days that did not make it out of the 40s.
