why is it hard to express our selfs ...... some times i hold things deep inside ...i have all these feelings , words that want to get out but yet i remain quiet .... i see people in thestreeets all strangers no one hardly says good morning any more ... its as if people have become zombies , just going through life aimlessly ....they seem cold careless ... at times you see a smile break out but its a carefully done as if they are afraid to show that little side to...

Exposed Part 10

Posted 07-18-2008 at 08:56 AM by Pam& Bill

Yesterday as Bill and I were on the Interstate heading into Knoxville, we both agreed that our move to Tennessee was a great experience for us both. Did anyone noticed how time came to a screeching halt for about 45 seconds? The ground shook and the dark clouds covered the sun. This all happened because Bill said " I can't believe I'm going to say this, but.... I actually like Knoxville better then New Orleans" Well isn't that a powerful endorsement for the Knoxville Chamber of Commerce?...

Living Green in the Emerald Isle

We had visitors recently from America, who seemed very impressed with all the "green" measures we follow here. Well, it's necessary isn't it, when you're a small country with no oil source of your own, little spare room for landfills, and as for solar energy...well, let's not talk about our lack of sunshine, ok?

But our family does feed ourselves from a large kitchen garden, and as a nation we do recycle, evidenced by the often-overflowing row of bottle banks in every village....

YouTube - Jamey Johnson - In Color (Official Music Video & Lyrics)

Im not a big fan of this video, but I am of the song. It reminds me of being a little boy and sitting on the front porch of my grandparents house, which was an old white house with a big front porch, and hearing all the stories that my grandad and his brothers would tell. We were so far out in the country, on top of Crowleys Ridge, AR, that if someone drove by you either knew them or they were lost-lol.

Up on Mountain, thoughts of Past and Future.

Posted 07-18-2008 at 05:47 AM by Summering

Ah, Such a beautiful day in the Poconos.
Living on the crest of a mountain is just a joy........I might add except when the winter snow flakes fly, or ice forms on the drive from one of those blustery storms.
Way up here, there is a great view all around. Fields, farms, mountain ranges...everything nice and green.

I started a new album of old pictures and things past.........because as we move forward.......all those things become endearing to our hearts.
