I watched the video of them supposedly being tossed off of the dock but it was too shaky and unfocused to really make anything out.

I can post pictures of them on planes and taking selfies with cellphones if you need more proof.
My blame is more so towards the discovery channel than the Brown family. Every episode something is scripted. But you can't blame people of their status for wanting to go along with it.

I still think that they are considerably, a bush family. They at least had to start out as one, right? Until the discovery channel came along.

I don't know if anyone else has posted this, but, it's noted to say that stoopidhousewives do exaggerate some things of their own.

Sorry if there's a problem with that link. I hope it works.

I cannot find any evidence that they started out as a bush family.

You know at least one, maybe more, of the kids were born in TX, right. They're also in trouble, charges pending, for permanent funds fraud. They're professional scam artists if you ask me.

They show is a scam. The Boys apparently were messing with with somebody's girlfriend when they were up by Glenallan, they got run off from there, then went down to Southeast and haven't faired out any better.

They really give the State a bad name. I watched the show in a couple of bits and pieces and it made me sick. Can't even call them Hillbillies, that wouldn't be fair to Hillbillies.

Now that the Alaska film industry tax credits are history, so are these shows. That's the only reason they existed.

^ Alaska is just way too popular to cease t.v. wise. I'm from the Midwest, and I love all things Alaska.

There's just something about Alaska that intrigues lower 48ers. I mean they'll watch anything, so long as it's in Alaska. And I mean anything, because some of those shows are just way too boring, yet popular.

Hi Group,

I'm from Connecticut
I've lived here for 63 yrs so far.
Am planning to move to rural New Hampshire or Maine next year, to get away from too much population, noise, traffic, and want a more nature-filled, rural life.

What's so wrong about Loving All Things Alaska?

My favorite TV shows are Alaska The Last Frontier, Life Below Zero, The Last Alaskans, and yes, Alaska Bush People.

I'd rather watch shows like those, than A-N-Y-T-H-I-N-G about Cities, Murder, Crime, Cops etc!
At least it's "out in the Country", with scenery and wildlife.

We 'stuck' down here in the [over populated/overly developed, etc] lower 48 can "strive & dream" of something better, nicer, more natural, more wild, with beautiful scenery can't we???

Is that so wrong?

I enjoy all of the beautiful scenery, the snow/ice, mountain scenes from all of these shows.

'C mon fellow Alaskans, give us a break.

You all have [probably] the most beautiful/scenic State of America.
Hell, you should be Proud of it!

'Just my 2 cents worth on this topic!

I agree with you, but I think much of the protest about some Alaskan shows are that they are WAY TOO fake and scripted. (All reality shows are manipulated.) And viewers hate having their intelligence insulted. And some of them are very insulting. Esp, Ultimate Survival Alaska. Literally, it's as if someone is having a near death experience in almost every episode.

Also, some shows don't portray Alaskans how they'd like to be portrayed. Hence, the Brown family. I like, or at least want to like them, but they do have their problems. That dock incident was uncalled for. And the fraud.
