History Channel did a documentary on gangs in Alaska in 2008. I was rather shocked !!

It is obvious now .. lots has been cleaned up some three years later.

If our goverment would turn thier backs on those human rights actavists and seriously punish those type of people we wouldnt have gangs, car thieves, child molisters, and if they would kill those inmates we have in prisions instead of housing them we could give jobs back to teachers, leave our unions alone and pay off the dept

You sound very much like Hitlers Nazi youth going wild video.
Wow, the Third Reich was a long time ago, but i think I have a better idea.
.
We can surgically alter their brains of all violent life sentence felony prison
inmates, gangs, mafias and repetitive violent and gang related criminals in
general and make them all slaves and servants to the state and federal government.

Send the reconditioned lifer prisoners to war was human soldiers to fight our wars, and so on.
The activist, shock treatments.
.
Why waste time, they are prisoners wasting tax dollars, and criminals are all
useless otherwise unless placed into labor camps and make it a boot camp
till they are released and no more Nike shoes, or prison gangs otherwise death by leathal inject.
Learn to be civil or die.

Or, we can continue doing what we have been doing and that is a dog chasing its tail or
find another more humane workable solution...

Gangs in Anchorage? I grew up in Anchorage and lived there most of my life. There are NO gangs. Just because a group of black teens or Samoan teens are hanging out doesn't mean it is a gang people! You all don't say anything when you see white kids hanging out in groups. Move to a real city then make a comparison. Anchorage is a relatively safe city.

Been back and forth from Anchorae since 2004 for holiday visits with my grandma. I was just there December for 2 weeks for Christmas. I saw or heard of no criminal activity when I was there and the local news (ktva and ktuu) didn't have much to report on what was going on in or around the city, so they mostly aired national news stories and weather. In larger cities I been in such as Atlanta, DC, New York, and Balitimore its continuous and non-stop report of violent crime after another. The news is so depressiong I dont even watch it in those cities.
