Where did you see the part about bullets? So far, all I'm seeing is:

Quote:
  • small-arms, sporting ammunition, up to a maximum of 5,000 rounds;
  • primers, up to a quantity of 5,000;
  • empty primed cartridge cases, up to a quantity of 5,000; and
  • propellants, smokeless powder in containers not exceeding 4 kilograms and black powder in containers not exceeding 500 grams, up to a maximum total combined quantity of 8 kilograms, (17.66 pounds).
So if I'm reading it right, there shouldn't be any limit on bullets alone. Also, it's interesting that they specifically say "empty primed cartridge cases". So does that mean as long as I don't install the primers, I can bring as much brass as I wan't too?

That is weird wording. I called the Canadian Firearms Centre (1-800-731-4000) and the guy I talked to told me what I told you. He said the limitation on projectiles was the same as the other components, but didn't say anything about priming the brass. I think I'll call them back to clarify that point and verify the rest, and call customs directly as well to make sure.
