Blame it on my daughter. That is her birthday.

AZDesertBrat did you see that 89A was closed the whole way through Sedona yesterday with tons of car accidents including a 5 car pile up?

It is indeed beautiful here and in my little retirement community, the Christmas lights were so pretty. But now it's starting to melt, even though it's still about 30 degrees. Am thankful it doesn't last like it did in Chicago area. My old back could not take that kind of shoveling any more.

That is the best thing about the snow around here...it doesn't last too long!

Its an interesting weather pattern these days across the country it appears parts Los Angeles and SoCal are colder than parts of New York on New Years Eve and New Years Day.

On the Times Square coverage they say its one of the blue moon days when Los Angeles is colder than NYC during the ball drop. I am sure the same can be said about Phoenix as well last night.

By the way news reports that snow has fallen on parts of San Diego County such as Julian.

I seem to remember they had to delay the start of PGA tournament there a few years ago because of snow. It didn't last very long though.
