He is critical of posters expressing their beliefs. Thats true enough to leave it as it is.

I noticed you’ve started being more open about your Animistic belief that spirits exist in everything, even inanimate objects. I guess that’s why it’s called Animism. I just got that connection. Cool.

Anyway, really proud of you for your bravery and I’d like to think my efforts have played some small role in helping you to be more authentic.

Maybe not YOUR specific beliefs, phet, but mine have been severely criticized and made persona non grata.

Do you think you receive more criticism from others for your panentheistic beliefs or for your Jesus beliefs?

Panenthist beliefs. They play havoc with their typical atheist focus on the existence of God. Their atheism is typically based on the beliefs ABOUT God in the many religions but they like to pretend it is about the existence of God which cannot be definitively determined scientifically. Panentheism specifically incorporates as evidence about God the very evidence they want to rely on to refute the existence of God. Panentheism requires atheists to acknowledge that their atheism is an unsubstantiated BELIEF about our existing Reality. However, I seem to be an equal opportunity criticism target from the theist side as well.

Hi Mystic. FWIW, I decided, months ago, that I will no longer criticize your belief system.
I know we had a bit of back and forth, a while back, and it got somewhat combative, but I have no desire to challenge you further. I've asked you enough questions to have a good understanding of what you believe and I am content to agree to disagree on matters. I wish you wouldn't ridicule traditional Christianity, which I find annoying, but I can overlook it and not let it provoke me to reply in kind.
Have a mystical day!

Some atheists have the same insecurities and flaws as the believers. And they can be more combative than believers. Most avoid a philosophical debate and would rather spend their time putting down Christianity.

I find that most atheists on this forum are more accurately described as anti-theists, and most of the anti-theists are anti-Christian.

The "gang," who tend to refer to themselves as "us" and "we," is an anti-Christian gang, and it's not restricted to atheists only. Other beliefs are tolerated by the true atheists in the gang, IF those believers in [something more] are sufficiently anti-Christian, and they keep quiet about their beliefs -- so as not to harm the militant atheist campaign. Also, not all atheists are accepted by the 'gang', especially if they question the efficacy of New Atheism tactics or if they ignore the "don't make a case for [something more]" rule.

Thank you. I appreciate the restraint. It comes down to what we believe is the True Nature of God as revealed and demonstrated by Jesus. I cannot believe that God is as you and the mainstream Christians believe He is. Since as Christians we follow the same Savior (for very different reasons) it seems best to just agree to disagree. We get more than enough flack from the atheists as it is, me more than most.
