11thHour, you've unearthed a gold-mine of material. The problem is most of it is not so funny...just diligently, painstakingly stupid [well that's usually pretty funny, too].

The theme this time is jokes aimed at atheists that tend to rebound.
P.s While the ferocious, snarling, expressions of the atheists is par for the demonizing course, i much commend the cartoonist for attention to detail, having researched atheist symbols so far as to get the Darwin fish (now found in the fossil record) and the 'A' and Christbuster symbol, which they combine, rather oddly. And running out of ideas, just slaps the smeary satanic '666' on one of them.

this reflects a tendency I have noticed. And I am still not sure just what is going on. (and one for a belly -laugh) But ostensibly unbelieving persons are criticizing atheism for being too outspoken, too 'In Yore face', too militant. While there is some truth in this as some atheists do go over the top in trying to push back religious influence or counter their claims. I have a suspicion that some of these people are sheep in wolf's clothing trying a disguised ploy of 'please shut up and go away'.
If they really are unbelievers and are concerned either for the image of atheism OR the future of the beneficial side of religion, let me assure them -first - that atheism is getting a lot more Respect by being outspoken then it ever got when it was cowering under the repeated beating - up it got from religion AND religion, when it is given good shaking to remove all the old dirt and tat of myth and obsolete theology, could benefit in credibility and usefulness.
And those who are constantly sniping at 'New/militant' atheism, if they won't help, at least don't hinder.
