Actually the main humor in this sign for me is the charming naiveté it displays in its choice of words. An unintended double entendre (or possibly a Freudian slip). Kind of like how the other day Perry was making some point against David and Jonathan being gay lovers using the words "rubbing" and "friction".

Uhh.... Mary his mother was 'entered' in the divine conception sense, but, if Mary Magdalene who was another lady altogether was 'entered' by Jesus it was certainly not in that sense. The gospel of John suggests that she was in the habit of embracing him and the gospel of Mary speaks of his kissing her and putting her in such a high position in the Nazorenes that it put Simon Peter's schnoz out of joint.

It was possibly because she was the first to tell Jesus he was God, or at least pretty fantastic.
