Does anyone have a rendering on how the Ferris wheel will look in the downtown skyline. I imagine it would like quite wonderful when driving through the downtown connector.
Looks like Atlanta is not the only city with giant Ferris wheel in the South. There is one in Pigeon Forge in Tennessee, that just opened. The Ferris wheel is about the same size as Atlanta's. Giant wheel attraction opens in Pigeon Forge

will you even be able to see it? i don't even think you can see it from the downtown connector because it's on the west side of downtown.

There is also one being built on the shore of Staten Island, NYC for tourists to have a great view of the harbor and NYC. I still think our ferris wheel is a great thing for downtown, and just adds one more thing for tourists to do in that area, but I don't think it is unique anymore. It seems like a trend right now to build ferris wheels in cities.
