Maybe not so much. At 20 stories that would be around 200 feet high. The London Eye is more than twice that. It won't be as prominent against the Atlanta skyline if it's not twice as high.

You never know. One of the coolest sights I've ever seen was crossing a bridge near Mobile Alabama. At the top it was 360 degrees of trees as far as the eye could see. Other than the bridge itself, no sense of civilization anywhere...just green and sky.

I agree with you on the probably ability for the wheel to be spotted from that straight north south section of the connector below the Brookwood interchange.
It could be stunning actually, especially if lighted properly & most notably then when in motion.

Is that the I-65 bridge or I-10?

I passed by yesterday, and it looks like concrete has already been poured. Hard to tell while driving by though.

The opening of the wheel has been delayed, Fox 5 reporting this morning.

The amount of rain we have had over the past couple of weeks has slowed the construction.

I just walked by a few minutes ago. Some concrete has been poured, and some forms are in place for more concrete. Lots of gravel in the parking lot. Can't wait to see this thing going up.
