Generally good news, I'd say. Europe downgauges are nothing new, and just on hub-hub routes mainly.

Brasilia, Bogota, Santiago, and Sao Paulo all upgauged.

This is great news, Virgin Atlantic will add another London flight and take over Delta's Manchester, England flight. It's great to always see new metal at Hartsfield.

Good to hear. That is good for Delta and strengthening ties to between London and the US.

I might just have an excuse to check out Manchester sometime!

Awesome! That's 3 Virgin Atlantic flights to Atlanta per day. I wonder what sort of aircraft they'll use. I'd love to see a 777 or 747!

I agree. Given the markets and distances involved I definitely expect a 777. A 747 is too big for the route to not be longer or have a large demand with lower frequency service across the day

Virgin Atlantic doesn't operate 777s, it will likely be a A330-300 or A340-300/600.
