Yes that is the development. There is a sign on the corner advertising it as the Atlantic Yards site.

And then the other one that should be starting up soon, is AMLI Market St mixed use apartments/retail, slated for right here:

And then after all these developments, this one is still vacant:

And this one:

And the large 'pinnacle' one:

Plus all the redevelopment happening in Atlantic Station right now.

With those townhomes that back up to the parking deck, I wonder if there will be some sort of shield between them and the deck. Not sure I'd want to look out my back window every day just to see a hulking parking structure.

Default Atlantic Station’s central park to become ‘best public space in Midtown’ (Renderings)

Atlantic Station today is kicking off a major transformation of its central park that will double the size of the gathering space, add a signature fountain, and bring new restaurants and shops.

Atlanta-based landscape architecture firm HGOR is leading the design.

The development’s central park today is square-shaped and flanked by large former restaurants. An demolition event set for Tuesday will begin to change that..."

Will improve the flow and feel of the area.
Quote:
The greenspace will become oval-shaped, featuring a curved canopy and a signature water fountain. A large LED television screen will be installed to broadcast live events and social media alerts.

HOBNOB Southern Tavern will anchor the north end of the park, featuring an airy design and an upper-level patio.

The south end of the park will feature 6,000 square feet of shops and restaurants in three jewel box buildings.

Atlantic Station’s East and West District avenues will close to vehicular traffic, creating a pedestrian-only area.

"Best public space in Midtown" is laughable hyperbole. For one thing, it's not public at all. It's private property. It's well documented that you will be accosted by security if you try to take photos there. Unlike in any public place anywhere in this country. And also... Piedmont Park.
