Keep his base placated, keep his Alma Mater playing and above all else - remain loyal as dog to master (one who publicly scorned him). Old school Southern ethos die hard, but with time, die they will.

To be replaced with what? A progressive city like NYC which is a disaster right now? Minneapolis? Seattle?

Which is funny since college football may be canceled regardless.

Sadly, a lot of people won't do anything unless forced by government edict.

Hartsfield-Jackson is reason enough for me to applaud the City of Atlanta mask policy. I travel every week and it was noticeable this past week the increase in effort. They were handing out masks at every entrance. Traffic definitely picked up and it was great to see masks on throughout the terminals

At the airport we have millions (perhaps only thousands these days) of people passing through from who know where.

I know why he’s doing this but in this case he should look beyond government control and think about it as a public health emergency. 4 weeks of consistent mask wearing and our cases would drop. Unfortunately the US number of cases has shown that unlike some countries in Europe the average American doesn’t do anything for the common good.

What kind of sacrifice is it really to wear a mask of some sort in public?

Too many whackos out there on both sides of the issue.

It's not about cases anymore with the vast majority turning up asymptomatic. Take a look at the death data from DPH: STILL DROPPING.

It is, but hospitalizations are still increasing. Ideally both should be decreasing.

But no one is revealing if that number is simply due to hospitals having more people, and more of them happening to test positive, or if they're due solely to a particular virus. If you get in a car wreck, and end up in the hospital and happen to test positive, you're now "a corona hospitalization." What's telling is they haven't started screeching about lack of ICU space up here like they are in Florida and Texas which tells me and other data analysts in the industry that Georgia doesn't have a problem in that regard. And even in those states, they also aren't revealing how many are in the hospital already and happen to test positive those becoming "a corona hospitalization."
