What's the safest part of Marietta? please give some area codes and streets to be helpful. I'm going to be possibly moving down there soon.

The nicest part is NW Marietta. What kind of situation are you looking for? Maybe I can be more helpful. House or condo/apt? Family? There are other pockets that are nice too. If you know where you'd be working, that would help.

I would try to stay north of the 120 (aka Dallas Hwy/Roswell - there's also a 120 "Loop"). It's a little newer up that way, and probably much less crime. Below the 120 is the older part of town going towards Smyrna, not so great, but not terrible. Kennesaw is also very low crime. These would be 770 and (the newer) 678 area codes. 404 is Atlanta or old areas.

You'll find tons of areas that are safe. Marietta is a nice city. Anywhere in the area I described (that's a huge area) will be ok, plus others. I think the zip for the apts I mentioned might be around 30160. There are a lot of zips here, and I don't know whose is whose. Perhaps you can find a postal map and match it to a Marietta map online?

I am also looking to move to Marietta so my daughter can attend Marietta High School for the IB Program. What areas around this high school district is safe? - We will be looking for a single family home in the price range of 180,000 - 220,000 - Thanks in advance

This part of Marietta is pretty quiet. Just be sure the address you're buying is in their district, in the city of Marietta proper and not unincorporated county, so you don't have to pay for the school. I'm sure the local RE agents are very knowlegable about the district lines. You could get a map from the school, and drive around to see what you like or don't like. You can usually spot trouble just by looking.
