Hello Guys. New to the forum here long time Augusta resident. Just wanted to throw this out there. My family and I were recently eating at Five Guys in Evans and let me tell you this place is great. The owner took his time out to come and talk to us in the lobby. He had mentioned its under new ownership and trying to get the place turned around. I can tell he is more hands on because he actually took time out to go out the lobby and talked to the customers. Kudos to him and good luck. But the purpose of this was we got to talking and he mentioned they had to open another location up next year and he had mentioned they are looking into Grovetown. I told him that area is growing a lot and would be a great location since he had just moved here.

So just throwing this out there that Five Guys could be coming to Grovetown. But on a side note if you want GREAT burgers and fresh fries go visit Five Guys in Evans.

Twin Peaks is in the midst of a soft opening at 277 Robert C. Daniel Jr. Parkway, which was once Sticky Fingers, in Augusta Exchange.
The company spent about $500,000 to convert the barbecue restaurant into the mountain sports lodge setting of the Twin Peaks brand. It has 170 employees, 125 of whom are waitresses dubbed the Twin Peaks Girls.

I'd like to see the building at Gordon Highway & North Leg have some success. It always seems to be changing.

Two fashion apparel retailers have shuttered their stores in the Augusta Mall.
A Wet Seal store closed last week, while Body Central closed its recently-remodeled store Sunday. Both long-standing stores in the mall carried merchandise for teens and young women.

It will be exciting to see what retailers take those spots.
