Best car - hard to say. 1998 Toyota Land Cruiser, 2002 Lexus SC430, 2008 Lexus RX400h, 2014 Lexus LX570, 1997 Volvo 960, 1994 Toyota 4Runner, various Toyota Tacomas, all bought new. Lots of miles but zero issues.
Average cars - a lot of them. Mercedes 500SEL, Ferrari F430, Ferrari 612, Mercedes 300TE, Volvo XC70 T6, Volvo XC90 T6, Volvo XC70 D5, and so on. Again, all bought new. Not spectacular but fulfilled their purpose at the time.
Worst - 1990 Chevrolet Lumina Z34, 2004 Chevy Suburban K2500, 2000 Land Rover Discovery 4.6. All bought new. ALL TERRIBLE! My Ferrari California has been pretty bad also - fluid leaks, electrics, etc. But when it runs it is glorious.
Now, if not measured by reliability but fun to drive, put a smile on my face every time? 1998 Land Cruiser, 2002 Lexus SC430, any of my Tacomas, my Ferrari California and FF, any of my Bentleys.

Best overall vehicle: 1966 Rover 2000. Great handling, incredible brakes, supremely comfortable long-distance cruiser whether freeway or back roads, extremely advanced safety features.
Worst: 1984 Omni. Had dealer-installed AC, which was a mistake but the dealer didn't inform me that the car wouldn't have ventilation through the AC ducts. Ran rough, it had numerous unpleasant features which supremely irritated me.
Fine car: 1991 Camry 2.0 stick. Did everything well, sort of like a newer version of the Rover.
Fine car: 2008 KIA Spectra. Did everything well, sore of like a newer version of the Rover or the Camry. Ditto the '92 and '94 Mazda Protege sticks.
Fine cars: 2013, 2015, 2017 Souls.
Not so great: 2004 Honda Accord. It had rear drums (a mistake) and they were in the shop several times because they were always out of round. Not what you'd expect of a Honda, but saving money by using drum brakes is usually stupid.
Fine car: 1979 Pontiac Parisienne. Drove me all over during grad school. No trouble, very handsome yellow car, did it all.
More brake trouble: 1992 Taurus P50 Police Package. Disc brakes would warp every 10,000 miles or so. Otherwise it was great. Well, I took it in to a dealer while on vacation for a forgotten reason. They discovered a safety recall, gave me a Maxima loaner and wouldn't let me take my car back until repaired. The Maxima was as sterile and uninteresting a car as I've been in.
Trooper: Circa 1982 (?) Chevette, believe it or not. Stick shift, took it cross country to Ft. Bragg 2-3 times. It did what needed to be done, utility vehicle but hey it beat walking.
1992 Taurus SHO, bright red: Very cool car but not as great as the writers pumped it up to be. Got lots of attention on the street, no from cops so much as guys who wanted to race.
There's more, someone slip me a 10 and maybe I'll add on.
