No girl should just a guy for his car. Just no. And that type of woman, if you hook her, isn't worth the time. She'll be the type that wants the fancy bank breaking wedding, wants her way, wants to live next door to mom and dad, doesn't want to listen to your needs, and wants life on her terms. Just no!
Pick a car you love and be happy with it. The 4 runner is nice because it shows you can haul things around, like dogs. A dog loving woman is a better bet than a shop happy money spending selfish thinking spender that is always about having the next best thing. I am generalizing but still. Never buy something in order to attract someone else. If you live your life that way you won't be happy. You'll be so stuck on trying to live up to someone else's expectations you can't fulfill your own. In the same way - Do you do your job because you love it or are you out to impress the boss? Are you a drone or set the tone on your own terms -- Well, within reason?
This topic is like a news segment I watched on prom trends. It used to be all about the guy asking the girl. Now it's about the guy going overboard in doing something spectacular in impressing the girl. One girl said no on a lousy invite so the guy had to come up with another brainstorm to impress. It was something about getting a cop friend to pull the girl over and then go through that when he pops up and asks.
To me that's all about expectations and bragging rights to the other girls. And what does this show us about the youth of today, especially the girls. It's no longer Johnny asked me to the prom. It's Johnny asked me to the prom and listen to how he asked me. It's like being proposed to with a ring but the ring not measuring up. I mean get real here. This will be a person that wants the rock, the huge house, the 4 cars, and all the debt she won't think about because it's all about impressions and how fragile that bubble is.
I dunno what ukrkoz posted but it does nothing for me.
The Giulia Quadrifoglio's base price is $72,000 while the base price of the clover-free base Giulia sedan is $38,000. The Quad is too spendy for me, perhaps the sedan but I thinking we're getting into Beamer territory here.
Camry's aren't sleek? Well I know sleek when I see it, and I vote with my feet. Can't hurt to look but I suspect you speaketh the truth!
I'm not in any committed relationships. I have only one GF at the present and we have a good relationship. We've been dating for about 5 years. I'm interested in meeting other women. I have no problem with her dating other men. If I'm not a better man than my competitors then I don't deserve the woman.
My only demand on women is that the time we spend together must be quality time. To fully appreciate a beautiful bird you must allow that beautiful bird the freedom to fly. Put that beautiful bird in a cage and all you end up with is a bird with broken spirits. To fully love somebody means to me that you must give your lover all the freedom they need, even at the cost of possibly losing them. Imprison them with your love and your love will die.
Dear Abby, I don't have a problem. How ever shall I fix it?

This thread would be better served in the psychology forum. Definitely need to figure what makes the OP tick before we'll have any luck suggesting a car based on his supposed desires.
Very town and country, he has a bit of a commute and the roads do get slick.
